Actor John Abraham sat down with Filmfare's Editor-In-Chief Jitesh Pillai about his upcoming release , The Diplomat and what attracted him to its gripping story. The actor's range spans across various genres of films, right from the action packed Dhoom franchise to comedy-romances like Dostana, Garam Masala & Desi Boyz. Through his time in the industry, he eventually went on to produce films like Vicky Donor & Madras Cafe which are some of his career highlights. He reveals how he isn't a fan of social media and does not depend on it for validation. As an actor and producer he emphasizes on the need of banking on original and good stories, which will eventually bring audiences back to the cinema. John goes on to share anecdotes from the sets of his first film Aetbaar, starring Amitabh Bachchan & Bipasha Basu, where he wasn't allowed to enter with his bike. He later recalls the advice and guidance given to him by director-producer Aditya Chopra and director Karan Johar, who were also his friends from school. All of which helped him sustain in the industry despite all the highs and lows in his career.
