Acting on intelligence inputs, officials attempted to stop the vehicle near Tamando on the National Highway, but the container reportedly continued moving. After a pursuit, the Excise team successfully intercepted the vehicle near Acharya Vihar in Bhubaneswar. Authorities suspect the involvement of organised transportation networks and the use of coded communication methods in the alleged smuggling operation.
