SERAMBINEWS.COM - The United States military has launched a new wave of attacks across Iran, targeting transportation routes, major ports, and economic facilities. A series of explosions were heard in several regions of Iran on Monday (July 12). The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said the attacks were aimed at weakening Iran. CENTCOM said the attacks were carried out on direct orders from United States President Donald Trump. "The Commander-in-Chief has ordered these attacks to hold Iranian forces accountable," a CENTCOM statement said. Several Iranian media outlets reported a series of explosions were heard and shook several areas. Iranian state television said explosions were heard around Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, and the city of Jask. According to the report, at least three explosions were reported in Jask, followed by more explosions. Explosions were also heard in the cities of Bushehr and Kangan in southern Iran.
