"Border Breakthrough 1989" — East German Film (1990)
"Border Breakthrough" is a 1990 documentary film produced by the East German "Army Film Studio" which depicts the events that took place two days after the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989. The footage was primarily captured between the dates of November 11 to December 22, 1989 by East German director Mathias-Joachim Blochwitz who took his camera to film interviews with border guards and civilians near the Brandenburg gate.
