In this easy tutorial, I show you how to crochet a poncho, shawl or scarf with one beginner friendly pattern. Only easy beginner friendly stitches are used in this tutorial. These items will be perfect for fall weather and layering all year long. Fringe is optional. Use any yarn, great stash buster project. Made to measure - size inclusive - Written in English -U.S. Terms U.S. terms, easy to follow. Use any yarn and hook. I recommend: using a smaller hook for border rows and making your Row 1 into back bumps for a cleaner straighter border, but this is optional. I show using the back bumps on the scarf tutorial and using regular stitches on the poncho- so you can see both ways being used. I prefer back bumps, again this is personal preference.
