Fix and Adjustable voltage regulator using IC 78XX & LM317

The series of 7800 fixed voltage regulators eight voltage options ranging from 5V to 24V. These are having adequate heat sinking and deliver a current of more than 1A. These ICs having internal thermal overload protection and short-circuit current limiting. IC 78XX can be used as a constant current source. The LM317 is an example of a three-terminal positive voltage regulator with adjustable output voltage. The capacitors are for decoupling and do not affect the DC operation.
