In August, four months after we started camping, I started a YouTube channel full-scale to introduce campsites. That said, my videography is at a standard level, just filming my kids' movements with my phone or video camera. To top it off, I'm not very good with phones or computers... Of course, there's no way I could edit videos. To be honest, I only started watching YouTube in 2021 and never even thought about it. My YouTube life began when I bought an Amazon Fire Stick so I could watch YouTube on my TV at home because I wanted my kids to watch cartoons. As I uploaded videos without knowing much about it, I received comments about the camera shake, so I've been using stabilizer equipment to film videos since December 2021. I was happy to receive comments on aspects that I didn't notice and couldn't view objectively. I'm a complete beginner not only at camping, but also at YouTube, videography, and video editing. However, most beginners can only understand what it feels like to be a beginner. I want to solve my viewers' problems by solving my own beginner problems. That's the kind of YouTube channel I aim to create. -------------------------- [What made me decide to introduce campsites?] As a beginner, I can't book a campsite without knowing what it's like. I'm sure some advanced and veteran campers find that fun. However, I think many beginners prefer to check out the campsite before deciding on one. I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same way I do. -There are people who want to book a campsite but are having trouble. -There are people who make a reservation and then head to the campsite, only to find that it's not what they expected. That's what I thought. When I actually typed the name of a campsite into the search box on the web, countless websites from major companies came up. I thought, "This has all the information I was hoping for!" and opened one, but there were no details about the campsite. It was just general information with a few more images than the official website. Even when I opened the first page, it was all pretty much the same information. My problem wasn't solved. This was what made me think, "If there's no information, I'll introduce it myself!" That's what I wanted to do. I wanted to solve the problems and concerns of people who have the same concerns as me: Beginners to camping Not beginners but interested but wanting to see what a campsite is like I wanted to solve the problems and concerns of people like you. This "Learn More" channel mainly introduces campsites in Kagawa Prefecture. However, there is a limit to the number of campsites I can introduce. At some point, I would like to film videos that provide more detailed explanations for beginners than any other channel, such as camp meals I make even though I hate cooking, and reviews of my favorite products. I won't be able to post content every day, so the frequency will vary, but I will introduce camping-related topics in more detail than any other channel. I hope you will continue to support me.
