116. Installing pinless bladeholders in my 16" scroll saw
In this video, I will show you how to install and use the E-Z Set Bladeholder System for 16" scroll saws. The scroll saw I am using is made by Central Machinery and sold through the Harbor Freight stores. With these new blade holders, I will be able to use both pinless and pin end scroll saw blades (the original holders only allow for pin end blades). Being able to use pinless (flat or plain end) blades opens up more blade choices (there is a greater variety of pinless blades than pin end blades). The pinless blades also require a much smaller pilot hole when making inside cuts. I have been using these holders for quite a while now and I like them. It took a little practice to get used to changing blades, but now it is 2nd nature and I can do it with my eyes closed! In the video, I deliberately went slowly so that you can see how the holders work and how to use them. Thanks for taking a look at our video.
