I bought a museum piece at an antiques fair! And a military watch at that! I bought a super rare pocket watch. A piece of Polish history, probably pre-war! A watch with the word "Warsaw" written on its porcelain dial. Although it dates from the 19th century, the dial is in very good condition, which is unusual. It's a very rare watch; it could be on display in a museum. It has great collector's value. Such watches are sought after on the market. It was made by the D. Kloch Warsaw watchmaker's workshop, and as we can imagine, their production numbers are limited. I also bought a "painted" watch, which is also a piece of history, although a more recent one, from the 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s. It's a communist-era tradition of painting watch dials or scarves, for example, after an oath. As a memento of military service. In summarizing my finds, I also talked a bit about "painted" watches and the Warsaw dials on Błonie watches. It's worth noting that I bought a rare version of a Molnia pocket watch with a purple dial, but the Polish pocket watch outshone all of today's finds!
