Lasagna always better at home— Half the Cost, Twice the Love🔥

In today’s video we are making Lasagna, using fresh ingredients basil, Mozzerella, provolone and my marinara sauce, Olive Garden charges $19.99 for ONE plate of lasagna. I made the whole pan for the same price or less — and trust me, it's better. WAY better. This is the final Better at Home: Olive Garden edition, and we're going out with a bang. My nephew Anthony requested lasagna for his birthday, and when Anthony wants lasagna, Anthony GETS lasagna. From scratch. No frozen shortcuts. Just real Italian-American comfort food made with heart, tradition, and Ma's voice in my ear the whole time. 💰 COST BREAKDOWN: • Whole pan of homemade lasagna: under $20 • Olive Garden's one plate: $19.99 • Your nephew's face when he sees it: priceless Anthony’s Homemade Lasagna This lasagna was made for my nephew Anthony’s birthday, and it just might be the best lasagna I’ve ever made! ❤️ Ingredients Meat 2 pounds ground beef Salt and black pepper, to taste Ricotta Filling 32 oz whole milk ricotta cheese 2 large eggs, mixture of Provolone & Mozz (handful) 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Salt and black pepper, to taste For the Lasagna 1 batch of my homemade marinara sauce (see my Foundation Recipe video)   • Homemade Marinara That Puts Jarred Sauce t...   12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions 1 pound shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Instructions 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside. 3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Drain any excess grease and set aside. 4. In a bowl, combine the ricotta, eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper until well mixed. 5. Spread a thin layer of your homemade marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. 6. Layer in this order: Lasagna noodles Marinara sauce Ricotta mixture Mozzarella cheese Cooked ground beef 7. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. 8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. 9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden. 10. Let the lasagna rest for 15–20 minutes before cutting and serving. Tips The order of the layers doesn’t have to be perfect—it’s all coming together into one delicious bite. Resting the lasagna before slicing makes all the difference.
