At the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, members of the "Hama family" freely graze and relax among the bamboo groves. On June 28, 2025, the giant pandas "Liangbang," "Jiebang," "Caibang," and "Fengbang," who had been living in Japan, safely arrived at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, marking the complete return of the "Hama family"—the largest overseas captive giant panda population. Meanwhile, at the Ya'an Base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, many fans from Japan stood in front of "Xiang Xiang's" enclosure, frequently snapping photos to capture her adorable moments. To help the giant pandas adapt to their new home as quickly as possible, the feeding team used loving care and calling them in Sichuan dialect to assist them.
