In this video tutorial I show you how to use a knitting machine to make hairband scrunchies on a tube knitting machine. Follow along with me on your own machine. How to: 1. Cast on waste yarn. Make a few rounds. 2. Cast on your chosen yarn, I chose James C Brett Flutterby chunky. 3. Knit 20cm for medium size scrunchie, 30cm for XL scrunchie 4. Cast off by crocheting a slipknot for every loop around until all loops are off the machine 5. Join the seam together by hooking the yarn through the other side. Crochet slip stiches along the seam until halfway round. 6. Pass elastic through the scrunchie and make a knot. 7. Carry on with your slip stitches until you are back at the start.
