BMW 530e xDrive Touring is a Plug-In Hybrid car with 2.2 - 1.8 l/100 km WLTP fuel consumption (107 - 131 mpg US [128 - 157 mpg UK] fuel economy). Is that true? I checked it on 100 km trip starting with fully charged batteries (similar to WLTP homologation procedure). The result: 2.9 l/100 km (81.1 mpg US | 97.4 mpg UK) fuel consumption and 10.7 kWh/100 km (172 Wh/100 mi | 5.81 mpkWh) power consumption (economy).
