[Travel period: April 2024 ~ May 2024] The purpose of going to Koh Tao was to try tech diving, and the first step was sidemount training. The first day's training was mostly about setting up the equipment, and it was a fun time learning about each one. Where I learned tech diving = Big Blue Diving Center, and there were a British couple teaching technical diving, a young American instructor, and an instructor from Australia. Since there are few centers teaching TDI in Koh Tao, I received training at a fairly large shop in Sairee Beach. Tech diving interns have 4-week, 6-week, and 8-week courses, and different options apply to each course. However, fun diving is unlimited.
