Recipe - Kadumputtu & pork roast Ingredients rice powder – 2 cup water – 4 cup salt – as required pork – 1 kg oil – as required kudampuli essence – 2 spn chilly powder – 3 spn turmeric powder – 2 spn pepper powder – 1 spn onion- 1 nos ginger – 1 piece garlic – 5 flakes whole masala Directions 1.Boil water with salt. 2.Add rice powder into the water, at the same time stir regularly. 3.Cover with lid on a medium flame for few minutes. 4.Make small balls from rice powder mixture. 5.Heat idli cooker with water. Cook balls in steam for about 20 mins. 6.Boil meat with turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt, pepper and masala powder. 7.Marinate meat with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. 8.Grind onion with cloves, cardamom, poppy seed, ginger, garlic, pepper powder and cumin seed. 9.Heat a pan in oil. 10.Add grinded paste into it and combine with marinated meat. 11.Add kudampuli essence into it and mix well. 12.Combine with chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves. 13.Cook until the gravy will be thicken.
