1974 Porsche 911 coupe: Case drill, tap and Case Saver Installation [4K] Ep110

Last time, I realized that I had head studs that have pulled away from the block. Lost about half of them as they ripped the threads out when I removed them. While not a good situation, this is all to common on the 2.7L Magnesium cases. I will set up my quality drill press and drill and tap holes for threaded inserts. I will discuss the different kind of threaded inserts you can use and why I chose the ones I did. I will also drill/tap and set another insert in the middle of the block that commonly pulls out.
