God is Blocking the Way Back because He's Calling You to Something New

God is blocking the way back to that familiar thing because He is doing a new thing in your life and has a new way forward for you. You may have tried to back to it (job, relationship, place you used to live, etc.) and found it's just not working like it used to or doesn't feel the same. God has moved on to the next thing and is saying - come over here! This is a reminder to you today of the new thing He has showed you and called you to. I don't know what caused you to walk away from the new thing - maybe you feel like you failed, it didn't work out, you let God or others down, or maybe even that God let you down. But God gently and lovingly reminds you and restores you to the calling and place He has for you. I ask Him to bring into your remembrance now these moments you had with Him and what you learned from Him, what He's called you to and what it was like when He first called you and you received that new thing with joy.
