Trying To Survive The Most DIFFICULT Pizza Challenge In Las Vegas!

Today I'm taking on the most difficult 9lb "Double Down" Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas! This challenge can be found inside The Shoppes At Mandalay Place at Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar. The restaurant is known for its fun, laid-back atmosphere and New York–style pizza. The restaurant serves a diverse menu, featuring everything from classic pies and pasta to plant-based options and local craft beers. The staff here is awesome, and the vibe perfectly captures that casual Vegas energy! It's a great place to grab a slice, watch the game, or, in my case, take on one of the city’s most legendary food challenges. The "Double Down" Pizza challenge features an 18-inch pizza, stacked with two pizzas on top of each other, covered in marinara sauce and loaded with a mountain of mozzarella cheese. The challenge has a total of ten toppings, five meats and five veggies, which include capicola, salami, pepperoni, bacon, ham, onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, green peppers, and black olives. Altogether, this monster weighs around nine pounds and stands nearly two inches tall. Competitors have one hour to finish it all. If you beat the challenge, the $75 meal is free, and you’ll also earn a t-shirt, a $100 gift card, and a spot on the Wall of Fame next to legendary eaters like Joey Chestnut, Miki Sudo, JWebby Can Eat, and more.
