Opal cutting: doublet test and pricing my opal how I see it.

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! In this video I’ll be finishing off some doublets that will be trialing their saleability (Facebook link below). NOTE: This parcel went quick, but I’ll definitely do more. But first I pull out some Lightning ridge opal that I’ve been finishing off from a few parcels to put my evaluation on them, explaining my logic and reasoning best I can. It’s just to give you a rough idea and based on what I paid, and what I’d be happy parting with them for. Again, opal can range from “I wouldn’t touch it!” to “Name your price, I must have it!”, I hope to be able to show you the later in future videos and get more serious material to cut and have evaluated.
