A Fragile X Sibling Story - Barbara Majeski
At FRAXA we believe there is something special about those who have a sibling with Fragile X, the way their relationships evolve and the impact they have on each other's lives. Barbara Majeske, nationally recognized TV personality, renowned as the “Curator of the Good Life”, recently sat down with us to share the impact her brother, Steven, has had on her life. Thank you, Barbara, for sharing your incredible journey with us and passing along amazing advice to those who have a sibling with Fragile X syndrome! FRAXA’s mission is to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Fragile X syndrome. We directly fund research grants and fellowships at top universities around the world. We partner with biomedical and pharmaceutical companies, large and small, to bridge the gap between research discoveries and actual treatments. Treatments for Fragile X are likely to help people affected by autism, Alzheimer’s, and other brain disorders.
