This is the JR line that runs at the highest altitude in Japan. We'll introduce you to the highlights from the train window as we hop aboard a direct train that runs the entire Koumi Line. We'll show you the natural scenery and some slightly more niche railway facilities. Departing from Komoro Station, the train will travel to Nakagomi Station, Kaise Station, Koumi Station, Umijiri Station, Shinano-Kawakami Station, Nobeyama Station, Kiyosato Station, and Kobuchizawa Station. Along the way, you'll pass through areas rich in nature, including the Yatsugatake Mountains, the Southern Alps, the Chikuma River, and the Nobeyama Plateau. A journey in search of coolness. Enjoy!
