To perform this work you must first remove the transmission. The scope of this video starts with removing the flywheel, replacing the Rear Main Seal and re-installing the flywheel. Torque Specs: Main Seal - 10mm bolts - 8.8 ft lbs Flywheel - 17mm bolts - 80 ft lbs. (Flywheel must be locked to torque) Mopar Part (Rear Main Seal) used for this 2016 Jeep was 6843 3335 AA It is recommended you provide the Jeep Parts Clerk your VIN number to obtain the accurate part. In this video, we did not drain the oil. It is an option to drain the oil prior to performing the work. You do not want to have any foreign object or liquids enter the engine area (upper oil pan or oil). We do not suggest you do this at home. It is strongly suggested you use a professional service provider to remove your transmission and replace your rear main seal.
