¿Por qué están prohibidos los kurdos en Turquía? ¿Cómo viven estas personas en Turquía?

Kurdistan is the most sensitive issue in the history of the Turkish state. The very name “Kurdistan” is unacceptable here in Turkey, and by saying it I may offend many Turks, and I may be accused of supporting Kurdish separatism. But, in fact, Kurdistan is nothing more than the land of the Kurds, that is, the territory where these people live. The Turkish authorities do not recognize the Kurds as a separate people and call them “mountain Turks”. The Kurdish language is not well received and many Kurds are even afraid to speak it in public places. I became interested in this conflict and came here to eastern Turkey to assess the situation with my own eyes and give my verdict on this sensitive issue.
