I Transformed My Entryway Into Sleepy Hollow’s Haunted Katrina Van Tassel | Part 1

Step into Sleepy Hollow with me as I begin my Halloween decorating series inspired by Washington Irving’s classic tale. This year I wanted to create a moody, antique atmosphere in my home that feels like a haunted house come to life. In Part 1 of this series, I am transforming my entryway with decor that reflects the world of Katrina Van Tassel. Using thrifted and vintage finds from estate sales, antique shops, and Goodwill, I created a Dutch-inspired haunted farmhouse entryway filled with story and atmosphere. From a broken Delft plate to dried flowers tied with black chiffon ribbon, each item has a connection to Katrina, her heritage, and the legends that surround Sleepy Hollow.
