He slowly starts to become infatuated with her, and so they start to go out. Little do they both know, both of their families are equally disturbed, which oddly brings them closer. When Sarah sees Nate shoot a man named Peter, she realizes he is far more messed up than she thought. Sarah turns to John B, her ex, which makes Nate furious. So he accuses her of murdering Peter, blackmailing her, and being able to control her. Eventually, he snaps and tries to kill her. Sarah survives and Nate turns to Maddy.
