In today's episode, we're going to explore together, in a fun and very cultural video here on the channel, an incredible city that truly looks like a little piece of Japan in South America. Known as Colonia Yguazú, it's located on the banks of Km-40 of the famous Ruta 2, which connects Ciudad del Este to Asunción, the capital of Paraguay. The city, a result of an agreement between Japan and Paraguay, was founded about 62 years ago and now has over 10,000 residents. It is full of Japanese immigrants who initially came to work in agriculture and now live very well here with their descendants, children, and grandchildren, who still keep alive many traditions they inherited directly from their Japanese ancestors.
