A story of Sydney persistance: 15 Years of Astral People | Mixmag ANZ

While the days of Gadigal Land/Sydney sitting as a jewel in the crown of global nightlife may have had a few hiccups, few brands have stood the test of time quite like Astral People. Inspired by the creative chaos of a then-thriving Kings X, founders Tom Huggett and Vichara Edirisinghe have plenty to celebrate. Recently, that's been exactly the plan. A recent birthday celebration at one of the world's most iconic venues, The Sydney Opera House, a further demonstration of the impact the artist management group-turned promoter-turned festival and back again has had on its city. In this extended interview, Huggz and Vic reminisce on what 15 years has felt like. Their competitive origins, the inception of the iconic Summer Dance series, OutsideIn, and all the people who have touched Astral People along the way.
