This preset pack is roughly divided into three categories: 00:09 Soul/Hip-Hop/Fusion 08:39 Cinematic 15:32 Vintage/Synthwave/Funk While I believe that no software emulation will ever capture every single detail and nuance of the original hardware, Arturia has a done a great job with this virtual synth, paying homage to the original Oberheim OB-Xa. With the additional features, modulation, and array of quite superb digital effects that the Arturia OB-Xa has to offer, this instrument has become a go-to synth in my digital arsenal. Similar to Sequential's new "vintage knob," the Arturia OB-Xa has controls under the hood to give variation to each voice, including pitch, filter envelope, filter cutoff, and more. You must own the Arturia OB-Xa to use these patches.
