The biggest challenge in this restoration was making the trunk lid so it would swing freely on its hinges like the original. I also made new tires based on the originals, as well as the engine hood windows, which were cracked. Since Dinky painted their model a fluorescent pink mixed with white, I decided to paint one model in that color and the other in two shades of blue. I also made new tires from polyurethane dyed black. As usual, I packaged the model in a reproduction box. Most of these models were sold in plastic blisters on a cardboard backing.
