December Dry Flies for Grayling on the Dee - Snow Shoe Rabbit Emerger & Greenwell's Wally Wing VCAC

My first outing in a month. Weather cool but not too cold and little wind. Few rises later on but two and a half fish in a few hours off the top? EXCELLENT! I used a Wally Wing Greenwell's Dry for the first two after my F-Flies and Spiders yielded no interest. Then, speculatively, I tried a Snow Shoe Rabbit Paw Emerger with pale olive dubbed body (#16) which drew three or four rises. Met young Tom, too.! Nice kid just starting off...
