predicate complements
This video introduces the topic of predicate complements--direct objects, predicate nominatives and predicate adjectives--how they function and how to diagram them. A future video will teach more, including the common pitfall of pronoun agreement when using pronouns as predicate nominatives. Erratum: on one slide, complement was erroneously spelled as "compliment". My apologies.
