No entry to foreigners | My experience with Racism and Discrimination in Seoul, South Korea
No entry to foreigners. My experience with Racism and Discrimination in Seoul, South Korea. Seoul, South Korea is one of the best and most advanced cities in the world. However, there is still a lot of racism and discrimination that foreigners can be faced with in Seoul, particularly when it comes to nightlife in Seoul, particularly in Gangnam and Itaewon districts of Seoul. Many clubs in Seoul do not allow foreigners to enter because of their nationality, race, and/or ethnicity. Many clubs make up various kinds of excuses to avoid foreigners. Some clubs in Seoul will tell foreigners directly that there is no entry to foreigners, some clubs substantially raise the entry fee for foreigners, other clubs make you get a table if you are a foreigner, some reject you without telling anything. Seoul, South Korea is notorious for being racist to foreigners, especially to people of color when it comes to nightlife. Some clubs in Gangnam, Itaewon, and Hongdae openly say that people with certain skin color can't enter.
