SMA Sunny Island- How to commission the battery current sensor
This video is a tutorial on how to commission your battery current sensor (shunt). This is particularly useful for owners of the DC Solar trailers. All trailer owners should do this to ensure that they don't get incorrect state of charge values. It also helps the Sunny Island neither over or under charge your batteries. It looks like most people have the following shunt specs: 50mv - 500A. However, this may not be the same for everyone, so it will be best to get a flashlight and look at the specs stamped into your shunt on the bottom to be safe.
