This is exactly how I'd build a 40 pin 3406E if I were going to put it in a truck that I owned and wanted to run. If you want more horsepower than stock and yet want a more durable and long-lasting engine than stock, this is how to get there. I didn't put this in the video, but if this isn't quite enough power for you, you could add a marine cam for a bit more. But I'd definitely o-ring the head if you are going to go that far.
