Snowy walk on the Col de la Colombière 🏔️ and wildlife encounter. Relive with us a magnificent walk to the Col de la Colombière on Monday April 22, 2024, in the heart of Haute-Savoie. Leaving from the Parking des Bouts (Grand-Bornand), we hiked up to the Col de la Colombière, a quiet and peaceful path closed to vehicles during this period. ❄️ We were able to admire the scenery at our own pace. Despite the cool, cloudy weather, the walk took us to the famous Reposoir du Col de la Colombière and its magnificent chapel, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, we were lucky enough to observe wild animals in their natural habitat, including ibex 🐐 and a fox 🦊. We were also able to see a Bearded Vulture 🦅 that had approached us, but we didn't have time to film or photograph it. It's a unique experience to see these animals in the wild, far from zoos.
