This Looks Embossed... But It’s Not! (Die Cut Background Technique)

Do you love the look of embossed backgrounds in your cardmaking but don’t always want to reach for an embossing folder? Today I’m sharing a simple die cut trick that gives you that same textured look… with a fun twist! I’ll show you how to create a faux embossed background using die cuts to build texture and dimension. Keeping everything tone-on-tone lets the detail shine, and I’ve finished this handmade card with a sweet penny jar shaker for a little extra fun.
