LED Chaser Circuit Project | Coding with Arduino for Beginners - Part 5
Welcome to Part 5 of our Coding with Arduino for Young Innovators series! In this lesson, we take our Arduino programming skills to the next level by building an exciting LED Chaser Project. Using an Arduino UNO R3, multiple LEDs, and a few lines of code, you'll learn how to create eye-catching lighting effects that demonstrate the power of programming and electronics. By the end of this lesson, you will have created six different LED chaser patterns and a bonus project that uses a push button to switch between the patterns. In this video, you will learn: ✅ How to wire multiple LEDs to an Arduino UNO R3 ✅ How to build an LED chaser circuit on a breadboard ✅ How to use a push button to switch between different LED patterns Materials Used: • Arduino UNO R3 • Breadboard • 10 LEDs • 10 × 220 Ω Resistors • Push Button • Jumper Wires • USB Type-A to Type-B Cable • Computer with Arduino IDE Arduino Code Used in This Project The Arduino sketch used in this lesson can be downloaded here: By the end of this lesson, you will understand how to control multiple LEDs using Arduino code, create animated lighting effects, and apply programming concepts to build fun and interactive electronics projects. This course is designed for children, beginners, parents, teachers, STEM enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to learn Arduino programming and electronics through hands-on projects. If you would like your child to receive personalized guidance in STEM, coding, electronics, or Arduino programming, I would be happy to help. I also make the Arduino learning kit used in this course available to students. If you are interested in obtaining a kit or learning more about the program, feel free to send me a message.
