Looking at the case, you'll notice that the lugs are extremely short and sit significantly lower than the bezel. This small detail helps add to the reasons why the watch wears smaller than the measurement would suggest. Except for a few facets of high polish on the edges of the bezel and lugs, the case is mostly brushed. This brushed finish really fits the sharp angles and facets of the case. You'll especially notice this in the crown guards and how they are very sharp and angular, where a high polish wouldn't add to the design. The crown also has a brushed faceted look, and the texture makes it incredibly easy to unscrew or screw down. When you do screw the crown completely down, the watch has a 300m water resistance. Looking back at the bezel, you'll notice the scalloped notches. These help provide excellent grip for the bezel rotation, both gloved and bare handed. The dial is a deep, dark, shade of blue, looking mostly matte but in fact has a slight texture and shimmer to it. It is overall a very clean, easy to read dial featuring a small date window at 3 o'clock. The date window in made in black and is not very noticeable unless you're looking right at it. The markers are generously lumed and at both 12 and 6 o'clock you'll see large Arabic numerals for easy distinction. Underneath the dial, powering the watch, is a 28,800 beats per hour Bvlgari caliber BVL 191. The movement features a date, 42 hour power reserve and central seconds. While the movement isn't very different from the ETA movement it is based from, it is created entirely in-house.
