Thirty Minutes. Sometimes More. Sometimes Less. There's a gap between finishing work and the rest of the day wanting something from you. If I'm smart I fill it with a rod in my hand. No real plan. Just wherever the water is and whatever lure I feel like throwing. Most of my fishing actually happens like this. A rock shelf, a stretch of coast, somewhere I've driven past a hundred times. Sometimes fish come. Sometimes I just stand there casting into nothing. I go home better either way. That's where Quick Flicks came from. Short sessions, lure fishing, shot as they happen.
