Gulfstream G700. N700LE. 5 months old. Runway 06 Departure. Farnborough. 20 May 2025.

This is only the 2nd time this G700 has visited Farnborough - the first time being a diversion from Luton on the 28th March - so technically it's the first "official" visit of this aircraft! The aircraft had landed from Nice a few days ago and had been parked up at the Gulfstream apron on the opposite end of the runway, so was given clearance by the Tower to enter the runway and taxi the full length before backtracking for departure for Nice. For comparison I've also included Flex Jet's G650, 9H-648FX which was leaving for Milan. You can see the G700 is quite considerably longer than the 650 - (10 feet in fact) so compare for yourself in the photos at the end. The weather is set to change back to the prevailing Westerly winds tomorrow so this is probably the last time for now for filming Runway 06 departures.... Best wishes from Steve
