[Gangnam Central Church] Sunday Service, July 12, 2026 Scripture: Psalm 12:1-8 (P. 810 / Daily Bible P. 47) Sermon Title: Do Not Be a Child, Be a Child (Immature child, Mature child) Preacher: Rev. Hanmin Cho Today's Message - As we listen to the sermon, let us meditate on the following questions. Today's text, Psalm 12, starkly contrasts "two types of children," as if saying, "Do not be this kind of child" and "Become this kind of child." 1) First, verses 1-4 warn against the "child we must never become" through the wicked of the world, and 2) then, verses 5-8 show the "child we must restore" through the suffering community and the saints. ** “Brothers and sisters, do not be children in wisdom, but be children in evil; be mature in wisdom.” (1 Corinthians 14:20) “Therefore everyone who humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:4) 1. What are the ‘image of the child to be discarded’ (Do not be a child) and the ‘image of the child to be restored’ (Become a child) to me? 2. What kind of language do I use?
