Three Days of Rain Changed Everything

After an incredible stretch of summer rain, my tropical garden has absolutely exploded with growth. Plants that were struggling are suddenly thriving, flowers are blooming everywhere, and even some surprises are making their appearance. In this week's garden tour, we'll check on the giant Tetrapanax leaves, the long-awaited Brugmansia blooms, Oleander flowers, a possible Yucca rostrata flower spike, thriving Phoenix sylvestris palms, recovering fig trees, blooming Dahlias, Echinacea, Daylilies, Alocasias, and so much more. We'll also see how the apple trees and paw paw trees are doing, watch the hummingbirds enjoying the garden, and take a look at how a few days of rain completely transformed this tropical paradise in New York. If you've ever wondered what happens when a northern tropical garden gets exactly what it needs, you're going to love this week's update. 🌴 Tropical gardening in Zone 6B 🌧️ What three days of rain can do 🌺 Summer blooms and tropical growth 🌴 Palm trees, bananas, figs & exotic plants 🦜 Wildlife, hummingbirds & garden life 🍎 Fruit trees and tropical surprises Every week I share the journey of creating a tropical paradise in New York's Hudson Valley, proving that you don't need to live in Florida to grow an incredible tropical garden.
