TRIP REPORT | British Airways [Euro Traveller] Airbus A319 | OSL-LHR | BA767

Join me on this flight from Oslo to London Heathrow, on board an airline that hasn't been featured previously on this channel - British Airways. This was my first BA flight since 2014, and overall the experience really wasn't too bad. Yes, the inflight service has declined since then, as the only complimentary service consisted of a water bottle and a choice of sweet or savory snack, with the rest being Buy-on-Board. Still beats Lufthansa's tiny chocolate, though! Other than that, the crew was polite and friendly, the flight well on time, and the seats - which are still the original ones from British Midland - were relatively comfortable. The ticket price was also competitive, and I think there are several benefits when it comes to choosing British Airways over a low-cost airline on a route like this. You do arrive at Heathrow, which is closer to Central London than Gatwick or Stansted; the lowest fare also includes a large carry-on bag, so no hidden fees for that; and you have the possibility to earn Avios points if you're an Executive Club member. No WiFi or USB plugs on this particular aircraft, though. A small fun fact: as it turns out, this is actually the 400th commercial flight I've taken in my life! And what about you?
