You get a explosive mix of absurd arguments where the public good goes out the window the moment a neighbor becomes envious of another's success. It is a timeless comedy – the humor never gets old because human nature has not changed at all in over a century. The story takes place in a small countryside town where the local elites and farmers decide to establish a modern Water Cooperative. The goal of this grand project is land reclamation, drainage, and building a water supply line to bring progress to everyone. However, the fun begins when the project starts. We follow wild neighborly disputes over where the pipes will go, a parade of eccentric local characters, and a secret romance between two young lovers whose parents are on opposite sides of the barricade. In the end, everything intertwines beautifully, proving that the biggest obstacles to progress are not created by nature, but by human stubbornness.
