What started as a race weekend turned into a completely different adventure. I headed to Bangsaen for the 20th Annual Bangsaen Grand Prix, hoping to film from some of my favorite spots around the street circuit. Unfortunately, I was denied a media pass and couldn’t access the locations I usually shoot from. Instead of letting that ruin the trip, I shifted gears and focused on what was happening after dark. Friday and Saturday nights on Bangsaen Beach Road were absolutely wild. The streets were packed with modified cars, mini trucks, music, and people from all over Thailand. The highlight of the weekend was meeting the Bacon Mini Truck Club of Thailand — one of the biggest and most recognizable mini truck clubs in the country.
