Kempo Aiki Jutsu Vol.2

Carlos Garcia, founder Master of Kempo Aiki-Jutsu, 8th Dan Chinese Hawaiian Kenpo awarded by G.M. Jack Shamburger, and 2nd Dan Aikido Aikikikai presents his second work, which aims to show the importance of traditional training from the base, and then apply them to self-defense techniques, even with modifications seeking greater efficiency and forcefulness when defending ourselves. We start with a static work, purely basic, of Kihon, where the partners work a Tsuki attack and basic blocks such as Shoto Uke, Uchi Uke, Age Uke and Gedan Barae, to apply them later in self-defense techniques. The training begins with pure Kihon, static work that provides stability, strengthens postures and calms the mind. The hardening also teaches that the body feels pain when it receives blows, but also when it hits, so we learn to manage it and not to paralyze the mind in a real situation of confrontation. In a second section, we will show Aikido techniques, executed in the traditional way, Nikkyo, Sankyo, Kote Gaeshi, Shiho Nage, Irimi Nage. We develop here our own program, modifying the work in order to adapt it to our style, with our particular way of understanding self-defense, taking into account the continuous evolution of the times we live in. 54 min.
