Riding Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Sprinter (or Route 5) westbound from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) in Uptown Charlotte. CATS Sprinter is the only bus route that travels between CLT Airport and Uptown Charlotte. At CLT Airport Arrival floor (located at the first floor; ground level floor; ground transportation level), CATS Sprinter stops at Zone 4. At Zone 4, look for a sign that is inscribed CATS Transit Buses. Quick facts about CATS Sprinter (or Route 5): Departs every 30 minutes from the airport.
