Community, in other words, refers to the three types of education: formal, non-formal, and informal. These environments are characterized by their geographic location, their constituent elements, their purposes, the people involved, their needs, conflict resolution, and so on. In society, there are various types of institutions—educational, cultural, social assistance, health, sports, and civic—that provide some kind of service to the community. There is a very close relationship between school and society, since educational institutions themselves are part of students' development and are the link through which they acquire knowledge, learn about culture, socialize with others, and, most importantly, achieve holistic development so they can function successfully throughout their lives. 1. CLASSROOM SETTING The classroom is the physical space where teachers and students converge. It is characterized by the fact that almost all students are the same age, work on the same content, and have common objectives. The classroom has elements, tools, and materials that facilitate teaching, but it doesn't only address academics; it also encompasses social, emotional, and cultural development. Within the classroom, students acquire knowledge, social skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence, behavioral norms, cultural awareness, and other aspects considered in the curriculum, but they also develop skills not explicitly included. The classroom is a short-term workspace, characterized by two-way communication, support materials, and represents formal education in its purest form. 2. SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT This environment, as its name suggests, encompasses all the elements that make up a school: teachers, students of different grades, infrastructure, cleaning staff, administrative and management personnel. Together, they form part of the school community, and their presence fosters a sense of belonging to the institution, generating traditions, culture, customs, activities, and collective values. The school as a whole is a space not only for academic learning, but also for values, culture, and social relationships. It also includes recreational spaces where students can have fun. The school environment is closely linked to social relationships, as there is interaction among people of different ages, beliefs, cultures, and activities, all of which contribute to the institution's proper functioning. 3. COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT When we talk about the community environment, we are referring to the context in which a student develops; that is, the geographical area comprised of schools, libraries, health centers, homes, businesses, parks, and other spaces. Furthermore, those who make up the community have a role; this includes students, neighbors, workers, etc. The school should encourage its students to contribute in some way to meeting the needs and requirements of the community, through economic activities, social assistance, environmental stewardship, the promotion of values, sports, cultural activities, and more. The community setting is extremely important since its scope is not limited solely to the school, but to a larger space, with more people, with activities of all kinds and also with the exercise of various functions that must be fulfilled throughout life in the community.
