Some of the Funfair build-up of the first main fair of the season in Kings Lynn. The Kings Lynn Mart started in the latter half of the 19th century and was once known as where Kings Lynn ride manufacturer and showman Frederick Savage would display his latest rides and attractions to other showmen. Whilst times have moved on and rides are no longer shown to gain buyers, it's still pleasing that the fair still attracts some of the best machines. Over the years the Mart has been attended by John Birch and his impressive 4 hills Fairtrade Waltzer, Theodore Wyhatt and The Yeti made famous after its annual trips to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Perrin Prints awesome Tornado 2 Freak Out and StratosFear Booster, Billy Hebborns colourful Dodgem set called Ignition, William Percivals Dodgem Set, John Parrish 6-arm Tivoli Extreme, Spencer Smarts well themed Crazy Jungle Fun House, Dean Ayres Circus Circus Fun House, William Roberts Musik Tagada, Micheal Gray's Super Trooper Charlie Appleton's Hi-Energy Miami and the unique and famed Razzemetazz Waltzer of Farrah Shaws. For the Kids, there are always plenty of rides such as the Mini Waltzer, Race a Rama, Helter Skelter, Train Roundabout, and Monster Trucks just to name a few, even the non-riding adults are taken care of with an arcade, Large selection of food, Drinks and plenty of Fun and Games stalls.
