Apical dominance - why you should propagate and prune your plants often.
In this video I share with you the science behind apical dominance in plants, why they occur, and how we can manipulate it to our advantage as we propagate and prune our plants. Understanding the apical dominance in plants allow us to grow bushier plants (or a tall/long plant with one continuous main stem if thats what you're into). I walk around my plants to show you real examples as I demonstrate the theory, and hope to build confidence in your plant care and propagation skills. Meet my ficus elastics (rubber tree), ficus lyrata (fiddle leaf fig), philodendron birkin, monstera adansonii variegated, herbs like rosemary and basil etc… My instagram: @bo.tan.ist Jazz background music made by Rhythm Alley / rhythmalley.taiwan Other background music are created by me exclusively for this channel.
